Devin Caliri LOST BOTH ENGINES WHILE ON APPROACH. dID THE BEST i COULD. lANDING GEAR MALFUNCTIONED ALSO. BELLY IN.
Devin Caliri I noticed when I sent the pirep that the fuel was way off what it should have been. I don't know what happened because I started out with about 27,500 lbs of fuel. I didn't refuel nor would I needed to have with this flight. SOmething got so screwed up on this and I don't know what, lol. It began when I found myself 25nm off course just past EAU CLaire even though I was on auto with the FMC. I was cleared for the visual 30L by the tower and I began to turn and also put the gear down as I was turning final. The airplane wasn't responding. The engines shut down at this point. Lucky I was a bit high and fast 'cause I made the runway. Everyone survived as it was a heroic landing. Again...lol!
Devin Caliri Let me know if you don't want to approve it. I'm curious so I know what to do if one of my pilots ever has a similar situation. As it is, under the circumstances, I would approve it, but I've been wrong before. And, it's not going to bother me at all if it's not approvable, bud. Flying is flying whether I am re-doing a flight or partaking in a new one.
